Our team will take care of your obstetric and gynecologic needs throughout your life
Baylor Obstetrics and Gynecology is known for expert obstetric care, but we do so much more than deliver babies. We offer compassionate gynecologic services and will discuss your treatment plan with you so you can take an active role in your health care.
Our comprehensive, integrated team includes obstetricians, gynecologists, oncologists, surgeons, geneticists, psychiatrists, and trained nursing and support staff. To ensure that you receive the best possible care, our physicians collaborate with your primary care doctor and other Baylor specialists. Together, we can provide you with integrated care across all Baylor subspecialties, including neurology, cardiology, gastroenterology and dermatology.
Our physicians stay up to date on and often contribute to the latest advancements in obstetrical and gynecologic research and clinical protocols. As a result, they will bring you the latest advancements in women’s health care and evidence-based treatments to ensure the best possible outcome for your care.
Our physicians are Baylor College of Medicine faculty members. They are in the classroom training some of the nation’s brightest future healthcare providers and in the lab conducting leading-edge research. Our physicians also take time to advocate for women’s health initiatives nationally and globally.
Maternal fetal medicine specialists and obstetricians provide care should you face medical or surgical problems, previous pregnancy complications, fetal congenital anomalies, multiple births, vaginal birth after Cesarean (VBAC) and other conditions that could increase the need for you and your unborn child to be closely monitored.
Our services include prenatal evaluation, diagnosis, fetal therapy and open fetal surgery.
From prenatal care through menopause, we offer obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) care including family planning, obstetric care, childbirth, well-woman care, care for perimenopause, menopause and menstrual disorders, and gynecologic surgery.
We screen and diagnose fetal genetic disorders using high-level ultrasound exams, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling and umbilical blood sampling.
If you have a genetic condition that may affect your health, if you’re pregnant, or if you’re at risk for having a child with a birth defect or genetic disorder, we’re here to help. We’ll give you guidance on the genetic condition, its risks, your healthcare options, what to expect and how to prepare.
We support you when you need treatment for psychiatric conditions associated with your menstrual cycle, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, infertility or loss of a pregnancy.
Our specialists treat conditions such as polycystic ovarian disease and premature ovarian failure (POF), and they provide infertility services including assisted reproductive technologies such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), male factor infertility, preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and donor eggs.
If you’re facing a cancer diagnosis, our specialists can help determine the best approach for preserving your fertility while treating your cancer. We can offer new hope for fertility after your cancer treatment using preservation techniques including embryo cryopreservation with IVF, egg banking, ovarian tissue freezing and donated eggs.
Our physicians provide gynecologic care for girls up to age 21, including gynecologic exams, diagnosis and treatment of abnormalities of female development, congenital conditions, puberty issues and other gynecologic issues, including those caused by other medical conditions such as Von Willebrand disease.

Our patients benefit from leading-edge prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer through our partnership with the renowned Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center.
You can rely on our specialists for their expertise in minimally invasive surgical procedures, including robotic surgery, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation and sterilization. Minimally invasive surgery can often be performed safely in the outpatient setting under local anesthesia, which helps reduce pain, recovery time and the costs typically associated with inpatient procedures.
