For decades, the Family Fertility Center has been helping individuals and couples build their families through donor assisted and third-party reproduction services, providing a path to parenthood for every unique situation.
Our specialists offer the latest treatments and services to help you conceive, extensive experience coordinating the fertility process with outside agencies, and step-by-step guidance and support to make your journey easier.
What is Donor Assisted and Third-Party Reproduction?
Donor assisted reproduction is the use of eggs, embryos or sperm donated by a third party to help you achieve a successful pregnancy. It is sometimes referred to as third-party reproduction.
Third-party reproduction also includes gestational surrogacy, when a woman agrees to carry a baby for another individual or couple. A fertilized egg, or embryo, is transferred into the surrogate’s uterus, who then carries and delivers the baby.
Reasons for Pursuing Donor Assisted and Third-Party Reproduction
Our patients include:
- Patients who have been unsuccessful with other fertility treatment options
- Women and men unable to achieve pregnancy using their own eggs or sperm
- Women unable to carry a developing baby during pregnancy
- Patients with genetic conditions
- Single parents, male or female
- LGBT family planning

Emotional Considerations and Support
Building your family through donor assisted and third-party reproduction can be a stressful, complex process, taking an emotional toll on individuals and relationships.
At the Family Fertility Center, we’re helping our patients cope with the stress and anxiety through specialized support from professionals at The Women’s Place at Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women, one of only a handful of programs in the United States dedicated to the care and treatment of women’s reproductive mental health.
We individually care for patients whose beliefs dictate what is acceptable in the formation, storage and use of embryos.
