As academic faculty at Baylor College of Medicine, they also teach and challenge the future generation of fetal and pediatric cardiologists as well as cardiothoracic surgeons.

With a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to care, our team includes experts in fetal and pediatric cardiology, congenital heart surgery and transplantation, cardiovascular anesthesiology, and cardiac intensive care. We even offer specialized clinics in cardiovascular genetics, coronary anomalies, and adult congenital heart disease. Also, because we’re integrated within the Texas Children’s Hospital system, other non-cardiac specialties are easily added to your care team should the need arise.

State-of-the-art facilities. The Heart Center recently relocated to the newly-constructed 640,000-square-foot Lester and Sue Smith Legacy Tower building on the Texas Children’s Texas Medical Center campus. This facility offers the most innovative, cutting-edge technology available, as well as modern conveniences like large, family-friendly patient rooms with generous living quarters and full baths.

24/7 availability. We are here for you any time you need us. Our physicians are available 24/7 to discuss diagnoses and care plans with referring doctors. The Heart Center at our Texas Medical Center campus is open and prepared for surgical or medical intervention 7 days a week, year-round. Cardiology services are also available in the community at Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus, Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands, and at our Texas Children’s Specialty Care locations.
