Becoming A Patient

We are here through all phases of your life. The infusion suite cares for female adolescent – geriatric patients. Pediatric patients, under age 16, can be seen at the Texas Children’s Hospital Medical Center and West Campus Infusion Centers.

The Infusion Suite is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Each infusion session varies depending upon treatment and may range from 2-8 hours.

The infusion suite confirms availability of appointments according to the patient's condition and need at the time of the request. We make every effort to accommodate scheduling requests including same day appointments. For all same day appointments, benefits related to these services will need to be verified before treatment begins.

We strive to care for all patient with the best quality and efficiency as possible. In doing so, we ask you please adhere to your appointment time.  We have a 20 minute late policy. If you cannot attend your appointment please call 832-826-7500 to reschedule

Your First Appointment

• Your physician will send a referral to the infusion nurse.
• The infusion nurse will contact you to schedule appointments that are convenient for you unless your doctor has suggested specific treatment times.
• We will review of your individualized treatment plan
• The infusion nurse will provide education

Billing and Insurance

We accept most major insurance plans. Once your appointment has been scheduled we recommend you confirm any deductibles or co-pays with your insurance provider.

Upon being admitted or receiving services, the patient or patient´s legal representative may receive bills from the Hospital, the patient´s physicians, and affiliated physician groups that may provide facility–based services to the patient.
