Personal Statement

Dr. Qureshi is the Medical Director of The CE Mullins Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Texas Children’s Hospital and a Professor of Pediatrics at The Baylor College of Medicine. He is board certified in both Pediatric Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease.

Dr. Qureshi believes it is an honor and privilege to take care of patients with congenital heart disease and their families. He is involved in numerous national and international studies focused on developing innovative therapies that can be applied to interventional cardiology. His clinical and research interests include pulmonary vein stenosis, fetal cardiac interventions, patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) stenting, recanalization of occluded vessels, transcatheter valve therapy, and catheter-based therapies for heart failure. He is also extremely passionate about educating the future generation of healthcare professionals.

Outside of work, Dr. Qureshi enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is an avid fan of cricket and soccer.
