Personal Statement
Hosna Tazehzadeh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She completed two clinical internships in pelvic floor physical therapy while in school and has experience treating female and male patients. During this time, she developed a strong interest in pelvic health and has been practicing in women’s health physical therapy since graduating.
She pursues continuing education and additional training to further her knowledge and provide effective and evidence-based treatments to her patients. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance and implements principle and practices from yoga, mindfulness, and meditation to provide an integrative approach in addressing her patients’ well-being. She strives to create an environment where patients feel supported, heard, and empowered in achieving their goals.
Dr. Tazehzadeh has lived in Texas for most of her life. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, yoga, meditation, hiking, music, and connecting with friends and family.
