Healing of body should include mind and spirit. I am fascinated by the principles of Eastern Medicine and enjoy melding them with my Western practice of physical therapy by integrating a functional approach to rehabilitation through medical therapeutic yoga and holistic nutrition.
I began my career in oncology and developed a deep passion for rehabilitation and prevention in that arena. My specialty area is in treating pelvic floor dysfunction in adults (Women’s Health - Pavilion for Women) and children (Pedi GI – West Campus). I enjoy helping people with pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, prolapse, and post-radiation recovery. As my skills grow, I am very interested in the possibility of assisting people undergoing a journey of transformation following transgender reconstruction.
Physical therapy before/during/after pregnancy as wellness and prevention of chronic pain, bowel/bladder dysfunction, and pelvic organ prolapse.
