Personal Statement

I am a certified nurse midwife who has been practicing for almost ten years. Born and raised in the beautiful state of Florida, I was actually named after the nurse that assisted my mother with my entrance into the world, setting the stage for my future career. I have always embraced helping others and chose to study nursing in college. After being a Labor and Delivery nurse for about eight years, I embarked on my true passion to assist women in bringing their beautiful people into the world.  

I am a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, where I was trained and surrounded by some of the very best midwives in the world. Since 2008, I’ve been blessed to assist in the birth of babies. 

It is my honor to be a part of the Women’s Specialists of Houston and to help deliver care throughout your pregnancy and delivery. You enrich my life by allowing me to be a part of your journey in bringing your new baby into the world. 

Personally, I have been blessed to experience birth twice. I have one 14-year-old daughter and one 6-year-old son. 

I am ready to change the world: one beautiful delivery at a time!
