Personal Statement

Dr. Longerot is a native Houstonian from the Clear Lake area. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with degrees in both biology and Spanish. She returned home to complete her medical degree at the Univeristy of Texas Health Science Center – Houston. Dr Longerot went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. During her training, Dr. Longerot had the honor of serving as chief resident and received numerous awards for her academic achievement and leadership. She is actively involved in resident education at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Longerot has many interests in her field, including general obstetrics and gynecology, treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders, basic infertility and high risk obstetrics. She is proficient at minimally invasive surgery and offers in-office procedures. In her free time, Dr. Longerot enjoys spending time with her husband and son, running, traveling and reading.
