About

Madilyn Curtis is a pelvic health physical therapist at Texas Children's Hospital Pavilion for Women. She specializes in the treatment of female pelvic floor dysfunction, including urinary, bowel, and sexual health dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, and pregnancy and postpartum. She is passionate about providing individualized and holistic treatment for both pelvic floor and associated musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Dr. Curtis believes it is imperative for each patient to understand their diagnosis, contributing pelvic floor and/or musculoskeletal impairments, and the purpose of targeted interventions for symptom management and improved quality of life. She promotes patient autonomy so each individual feels in control of their diagnosis and body in order to have the ability to confidently return to work, exercise, daily activities, intercourse, caregiver tasks, etc.

Dr. Curtis was born and raised in Houston, Texas and loves spending time with friends and family, gardening, reading, and playing with her cats. She enjoys engaging in various types of exercise including weightlifting, boxing, running and yoga.
