Personal Statement
Dr. Nishath (Nina) Ali is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist in the division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her professional society memberships include Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, Texas Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Texas Medical Association, The American Medical Association, The North American Menopause Society, and The Harris County Medical Society. Dr. Ali is also a Medical preceptor and mentor for medical students, serves on the Baylor College of Medicine Admissions Committee, and was named Assistant Residency Program Director in July 2010.
Dr. Ali's clinical focus is on management of menopausal transitions using a balance of nutrition, wellness, and hormone therapy. Her work with the Menopause Center emphasizes a comprehensive approach to women's health. In her efforts, she has been recognized as a certified menopause practitioner by the North American Menopause Society. Dr. Ali also has expertise in the management of fibroids, menstrual problems, ovarian cysts, and pelvic pain. She performs minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery and office hysteroscopy.
