Personal Statement

I believe in compassionate collaborative care; this entails fostering an environment for patients, families and colleagues to feel respected, regarded and informed in the emotional and physical treatment and care of patients.

Clinical Interests: My clinical interests are in peripartum mental disorders, maternal substance abuse, and community and global mental health. I also have a particular interest in mindfulness based interventions and psychodynamic psychotherapy. 

Research Interests: My research interests are in psychotherapeutic and pharmacologic interventions for women undergoing infertility treatment with anxiety disorders as well as the intersection of spirituality and psychiatry.
