Personal Statement

Simone Romero is a native Houstonian, who received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and her doctorate of physical therapy from Saint Louis University in Missouri. Through her schooling and her internships, she developed a passion for treating the whole patient and empowering them throughout their care. After graduation she began working at the Pavilion for Women and Texas Children’s Pediatric Outpatient PT and found that her passions fit perfectly with pelvic floor rehabilitation for both women and children.

Dr. Romero is committed to deepening her knowledge as a provider through continuing education courses. These opportunities allow her to better inform and empower her patients to reach their therapeutic goals. She prioritizes collaboration with her patients as well as their support systems, always welcoming them in to a safe environment.

In her free time, she enjoys swimming, being outdoors, traveling, and connecting with friends and family over home-cooked meals.
