Personal Statement

Dr. Vishal Patel, originally born and raised in California, obtained his Medical Degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He then completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency here in Houston at Baylor College of Medicine. During his residency he received comprehensive training in all aspects of care, including high risk pregnancy and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Throughout his training, he received recognition and awards in his basic and minimally invasive surgical skills. He believes in providing compassionate care with evidence-based medicine.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, cooking, exploring Houston and all the wonderful food, and playing sports such as basketball, volleyball, and tennis.

Clinical Interests:

His clinical interests include general and high risk obstetrics, menstrual disorders, contraception, and minimally invasive surgery.
